SUMMARY.

Paterson and Rothwell -  injection mouldings for the defence industry

We threw everything at this insert moulded liquid crystal polymer defence item.   It has four sliding cores, one up and away to release an undercut and a hot runner system.   With quite a number of critical dimensions, tool design and balance was paramount.   The PEEK pins were insert moulded.   The part is so sensitive we cannot show you any pictures or mouldflow.   But we were thrilled to work on the project.
